This and Tanaris. I lived in a semi truck due to an adverse upbringing and had a laptop. Would sit here listening to this and had hope as a young teen. Sitting here on the nicest computer I've owned. Life is so much better. Thank you, Blizzard, for giving me a world when I needed one. This music got me through in the weirdest way. Hope everyone else made it. To better times, and for Azeroth.

I was in college back then. Fell asleep after raids/dungeons/duels and woke up with this music. Quit the game during Catacylsm. What a memory. Life in 2024 is just so different..

When I first played WoW and got to Dalaran, I would just sit on a rooftop somewhere, look at the night sky and listen to this. Always calms my anxiety

This, the Barrens music, the bloodelf theme, Tanaris, aswell as Durotar makes me sad for everyone who chose to play WoW without music. No amount of videos or screenshots bring back memories of my time in WoW like their soundtracks.

A minute of silence for our comrades who played without in-game music. Those poor souls haven't the chance to cultivate music-triggered nostalgia receptors in their noggins.

Right when the music starts you just hear: "You are acolytes of the master now, and you will serve the cause without question! The greatest glory is to die in the master's service!"

This and AV were by far my most memorable battlegrounds, and this music has a lot to do with that. Somber and thoughtful, and then powerful momentum with the drums to accentuate getting the crap shelled out of you while fighting at the walls. Love it.

2024 here. This is like folk music in my country (Sweden) played on a Nyckelharpa "Key harp".

Blizzard should give players the option to change the login music!! I'd choose this over any of the expansion music. Bloody hell blizzard, if you can change factions, race and others in the game, you should be able to give us the option to choose the music we want! Think outside the square Blizz!
